Project brief .
Flora and Fauna Exmoor comprises two stunning safari tents, each sleeping six. Canopy & Stars glamping website says: ‘With great accessibility standards, hot tubs, fire pits, and spa-like bathrooms, they’re the envy of the safari tent world.’
The glamping site is situated in a peaceful rural location on a small working family farm on the fringe of Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills, where Somerset meets Devon.
Owners, Dan and Rachel, contacted Motionspot to design and supply two stylishly accessible bathrooms to support their vision of making their safari tents Doc M compliant as well as luxurious.
Award-winning
Flora and Fauna has been awarded Visit England Gold Standard and M3 Accessibility Rating (meaning suitable for full time wheelchair users).

Project scope .
As Flora and Fauna’s listing states: ‘The owners have worked with award-winning luxury wetroom designers Motionspot to create a space that can be bespoke to your own individual needs and requirements.’ It continues:
‘The stunning wetrooms have step-free showers with removable wall-mounted shower seats, removable fixed and hinged chrome grab rails for shower areas and toilets, designer wheel-under washbasins with integrated grip handles, and wheelchair height demisting mirrors. The showers have both a rainfall overhead shower and separate rise-and-fall shower.’
In addition to the luxury wetrooms we specified and supplied, Flora and Fauna’s stylish safari tents also boast:
